Weather and your Pet's waste

Weather conditions can be challenging and with that comes additional challenges with your pet. Below are some tips to help your pet in the ever changing Midwest weather.

• Snow: Many pets like a clear area to use the bathroom. At Scoop Daddy we offer enclosed areas away from the elements where your pet can use the bathroom in ease. After the snowfall, clearing a specific area will make it easier for your pet as well as cleaning up.
• Rain: Thunderstorms can be quite troublesome for many pets. Some alternatives are moving them to the basement or an area that muffles the sound. There are also jackets available that comfort the dog during storms.
• Heat: Some dogs like the heat while others do not. For those that do, make sure there is water in a shady area. This minimizes evaporation and keeps it cooler. For those that do not like the heat, a sprinkler can keep your pet cool and keep your grass looking green at the same time.
